I was reminiscing back on the good old days of the LUSH Kitchen the other day and I ended up scrolling back through their Instagram page, taking a look at all the retro creations they used to bring back to life and into our homes. It made me feel really sad that the Kitchen closed and we were all right, it just isn't the same anymore. I actually miss those frantic 8am fights to checkout, I miss getting parcels every week, full of goodies that were new to try or that I loved and had sadly ran out of. But I think of it all, the thing that I miss the most is waiting for that menu to pop up on a Friday afternoon to see what products were going to be available for the next coming week. It then got me thinking about if I had the opportunity to have my own Kitchen menu, what would I put on it? It actually took me a long time to whittle down the options and select a small handful, I thought I would share my choices with you all!
MONDAY
Ma Bar bubble bar and Snowshowers shower jelly
These two were total no brainers for my Kitchen menu! Ma Bar bubble bar is one of my top three bubble bars of all time. I have two left, one that I got in my last large Kitchen haul and one that I bought from a destash a couple of weeks ago, and I just can't bring myself to use either. If you've never used a Ma Bar before, you're missing out! This gorgeous bubble bar may be small in size, but it is mighty in the water. Carrying the Honey I Washed the Kids scent, with a little bit more of a chocolate twist, this bubble bar gives you super silky waters that smell like heaven. Of course, your waters aren't the prettiest due to the brown side, but paired with a Shoot for the Stars bath bomb and the deep blue makes the waters gorgeous again. Ma Bar for sure needs to hit the shelves of the store again! My second option for Monday is Snowshowers shower jelly, as I have never had the pleasure to try it before. Snowshowers is a scent family that has had a few name changes over the years, Champagne Snowshowers was the original name I believe, which was then shortened to Snowshowers, changed to Celebrate and is now more commonly known as Bubbly. I adore this scent and every product I have had that carries it, so I'd love to grab the shower jelly too.
TUESDAY
Chameleon bath bomb and Dr Peppermint shampoo bar
Chameleon bath bomb is another product that I sadly never had to chance to try out. It was so super popular, I remember attempting to pick a couple up on week and it sold out within minutes of being online. This was also one of them items that always came out the week I couldn't afford to order, I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Chameleon bath bomb sounds like it would smell incredible, with grapefruit oil, mandarin oil and ylang ylang oil to create the scent and the bath art that I have seen looks stunning. Chameleon bath bomb reminds me of the gorgeous little Pascal from Tangled too, so any Disney reference and I'm on board! The next item I would choose for Tuesday, has to be Dr Peppermint shampoo bar. This shampoo bar is my most favourite hair care product that I have ever used, it even trumps American Cream! I bought Dr Peppermint a few years back on a whim as it was left over from the previous week and I like minty items. I didn't think much of it at first, other than it smelt gorgeous. I started using it and quickly realised how amazing it was for my hair! It gave me that salon washed look, my ends weren't as dry and my hair was growing at a rapid speed. Since using Dr Peppermint that first time, I have used two full bars and I am savouring my last one for a super special occasion.
WEDNESDAY
Ponche and Slammer shower gels
This was a really tough choice for me as I have bought and loved so many different Kitchen shower gels. The choices of Ponche and Slammer may surprise many people, as these two gels aren't usually peoples first Kitchen options. Everyone squeals over Avowash or Yummy Mummy, but these two shower gels pair so well with absolutely anything. I also think it's really funny how I ended up with bottles of these gels, both as a RAOK. I've definitely told these stories before, but my local LUSH store gifted me a 500g bottle of Ponche when I told them I was unable to grab a bottle online back in 2016 when the gel was released as an Oxford Street store exclusive. I was gifted a bottle of Slammer by the LUSH Kitchen when I messaged them about a bath bomb being a complete dud. Both of these scents fell into my collection by fate and I fell in love with both of the scents. I also feel like these two scents are dying off, we haven't had any new products that belong in these scent families for years, if ever! I would ask that the LUSH Kitchen try and make Slammer a little thicker though as this gel is one of them ones that's quite watery.

THURSDAY
LUSH Kitchen mug and Abominaball bath bomb
How brilliant would it be if the LUSH Kitchen made them bloody mugs that everybody yearned for but were so super exclusive and rare? I think every Lushie would love to add a Kitchen mug to their collection. I have scoured every selling website for years for this mug and they're either ridiculously expensive or definitely fake. I remember way back when you used to be able to show your stash of Kitchen Polaroids off and the LUSH Kitchen would reward you with a mug. This stopped quite a while ago and as far as I am aware, these mugs have never been available to purchase and have always been RAOK'd to people. I'd love to get my hands on one! The next item for Thursday would be Abombinaball, another extremely popular product that sounds amazing, that I never managed to get my hands on. Another mint scented product that is right up my street! I've also seen photos of the bath art of this gorgeous ballistic, and it just makes me want it more! Abombinaball hasn't been available for a while now and as it seemed to be one of the bombs that made a regular appearance in the Kitchen, I thought it would have made it to one of the seasonal releases, but no luck yet.
FRIDAY
Frozen, Creamy Candy and Silky Underwear liquid perfumes
The ultimate date of the menu just had to be perfumes didn't it! I found it quite hard to narrow down the perfumes that I would really love the LUSH Kitchen to release. There's a lot of fragrances that don't exist yet that I would love them to make into either a perfume of a body spray, Harajuku, Intergalactic and The Big Banana to name a few! However, if i got started talking about all the scents they need to make a fragrance from, I'd be here all day and we'd have a full menu of perfumes and body sprays. So I whittled it down to three, three gorgeous scents that I have loved for years or that I am just finding and falling in love with now, Frozen, Creamy Candy and Silky Underwear. I feel like the Frozen scent was made to be a perfume, I have the solid and it smells so incredible, I can only imagine how perfect the liquid version would be. This would be a scent that I would wear every single day! I chose Creamy Candy as I feel this scent gets pushed to the back of the queue as Snow Fairy is the 'ultimate' sweet and candy scent, and a lot of the time Creamy Candy products just get lumbered under the Snow Fairy scent family, when they absolutely are not the same. I feel like Creamy Candy is Snow Fairys sophisticated older aunt, the one who's really rich and doesn't visit very often, but she she doesn't she's always in heels with a designer handbag. Yes, the scent has the sweet elements that Snow Fairy has, but it's just a more grown up version. I also chose Silky Underwear as I have recently grown to adore this scent and again, we don't have many items that carry this scent. Now, I feel like Silky Underwear in perfume form, may be classed as a 'granny' scent and I honestly think my Mum would love it, but I'm thinking it would be a classy and tasteful scent, it would be like LUSH's version of Chanel No5, just not tested on animals!
So that's my many many choices whittled down to a few! I'd love these items to make a comeback someday. I'd love LUSH to start up the Kitchen again, I think we all really miss it. Let me know down in the comments if any of these products would make your menu and if not, what would you choose? **
