I really do believe that the LUSH Kitchen subscription box is one of the best things to come from 2020. The idea of getting retro LUSH items again makes me so happy, as so many of my favorite items have been discontinued or are retro items that haven't been available in years. When the LUSH Kitchen closed, I was rather upset about it. The mainline products just do not compare to some of the items they were bringing back through the Kitchen, and the amount of new products we saw through there was incredible.
I have been signed up to the subscription box since the start and I have skipped one month. I must say, I think this months box is the best of the lot and I can't wait to see what items we get. I really don't think I can be disappointed in this box at all, which will make sense when you see what I voted for. I'm also really excited to see the exclusive items are included too, as there is usually 3 to 4 items that we have voted for, plus 1 or 2 extra items.
The items available to vote for for the September box were:
Boo bath melt
The Witches Ball bubble bar
Skullduggery bath bomb
Wizard bubble bar
Potion body lotion
Bubbling Under bubble bar
Demon in the Shower shower gel
Ghost shower gel
Rainbow Warrior bath bomb
I voted for:
Boo bath melt
The Witches Ball bubble bar
Skullduggery bath bomb
Wizard bubble bar
Bubbling Under bubble bar
Demon in the Shower shower gel
Ghost shower gel
I voted for all bar two items this month, so it will be very difficult for me to be disappointed with this box, unless it contains both Potion and Rainbow Warrior, which I really don't think will have received lots of votes.
I am going to return to this post once my box has been delivered and we can go through all the items and what I think of them! :)

Firstly, I want to talk about the surprise element of the 'trick or treat' box this month! This was a really good idea, however I think it would have made more sense if it was the other way around. This month, dependant on whether you got a 'trick' or a 'treat' box, determined the version of the Demon in the Dark shower gel included. The 'treat' boxes received a black version of the gel which also contains powdered charcoal which provides the gel with a nice scrubby feel to it. I was lucky enough to get a 'treat' box and grab this limited version of the gel, and even though I am yet to use it in the tub, I have tested a small dollop on my hand and the scrub is nice. I am so here for products that are two in one!
Skullduggery bath bomb
Wizard bubble bar
Demon in the Shower shower gel
I voted for each of these items so I am rather pleased, however I am surprised that Ghost shower gel didn't make the cut and I was depending on Boo! being included too. All three of these items are just as expected as as they have been in the past (with the exception of the added charcoal powder in some Demon in the Dark gels) - wonderful! I would have maybe preferred to get a different item instead of Skullduggery as even though it smells insane, the bath art is pretty boring.
The surprise items in the September box were:
Calacas shower jelly
Pumpkin Spice soap
Calacas shower jelly
Pumpkin Spice soap
I was pleased to see a Calacas jelly included as I have one 100g tub and I use it so super sparingly, so at least now I can enjoy my old one and cling to this tub for the next however many years. I wasn't too impressed with a soap being a surprise item, as I have said many times I don't use bar soap. However, Pumpkin Spice soap smells absolutely incredible, so that definitely makes up for the format. This will also pair so nicely with the Punkin Pumpkin bath bomb!
Overall, I am rather pleased with this box. I knew it was going to be hard to disappoint me with the menu on offer. What did you think of this months box? Let me know down in the comments!
