♥ My Favourite Disney Movies!

June 03, 2018

I love everything Disney, especially lately! Primark have been coming out with so many good bits and bobs and I have become obsessed with buying it all. I have also started a Disney Traditions collection that is growing rather quickly! I think there is nothing better than sitting in on a rainy day, in your pyjamas and all cosy in blankets and sticking on a good Disney film. Whenever I fancy watching a film and I'm not sure what to put on, I always default to a good ol' Disney film! I thought I would share with you all some of my favourite Disney films!

Pictured - Moana
I absolutely love this film! As soon as I saw the trailer I knew I wanted to see it and I'm so glad that this film lived up to expectations! I adore Moana, especially baby Moana - she's so cute! I love the songs in this film, they're so catchy and I find them stuck in my head for days after watching the movie. I also really love the moral behind this story, as there is always a moral behind every Disney movie. The moral behind this story is that you can't hold people back because of your own fears, they will go out and be great on their own. If you haven't seen Moana, what are you waiting for?!

Pictured - Tangled
I think Tangled will always be one of my favourite Disney films! I loved this when it first came out back in 2010, which now feels like forever a go! I love everything about this movie, the colour schemes, the characters, the songs! I think there is some stunning cinematography in this film, the colours shades that were chosen are impeccable! I like the moral of this story too, that when something is destined to happen then no one, no matter how much power one has, can stop that from happening - I love that! I think Tangled is a great film for kids, teens and adults!

Pictured - Toy Story, Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3
How anybody can call themselves a Disney fan and not be a fan of the Toy Story series is beyond me! I love these films so much! The original Toy Story came out when I was only one years old and I grew up watching it. It was one of the only films I had on VHS as a child, so it was played over and over again! I remember being so excited when Toy Story 2 came out, when I was 5. I remember asking for a Woody and Buzz for Christmas that year! And even though I was 16 when Toy Story 3 came out, I still went to see it in the cinema and cried like an absolute baby at the ending! I felt as though my childhood had been broken! I am very excited for Toy Story 4 to be released in 2019! I'm also really happy I was able to pick up my very own Little Green Man and Hamm whilst in Disneyland, probably two of my most favourite things I brought home!

Pictured - Frozen
I know that Frozen has literally taken over the world, making a lot of people absolutely despise the film, but I really love it! It took me a while to watch it, maybe 6 months to even a year after it was released, and as soon as I did I regretted not watching it sooner! I loved the songs, which are very catchy and I can guarantee will  play over and over in your head for days if not weeks after! I love the characters, and that unlike the normal Disney style movies, there are two princesses in this story! I also love Olaf, he's so cute! If you've managed to hold off watching Frozen for this long, you really are missing out and it should be the next movie to watch on your list!

Pictured - The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2 and The Santa Clause 3
One of my favourite Christmas films ever has to be the first and original The Santa Clause film! Much like Toy Story, I had this film on VHS when I was a young child and I used to binge watch it over and over again, whether it was the festive period or not! I also really enjoyed The Santa Clause 2 when it came out also! I was so excited for this! I loved that they kept the same actors as I really hate it when they replace actors, it just doesn't feel the same! And especially with such a gap between films, I'm surprised they managed to. While the third movie was also good, it's not a patch on the first two, no where near! If you haven't seen these films, I strongly recommend you give them a shot! I have to fall asleep listening to a film, and come October time, The Santa Clause is my go to movie, every single night!

Pictured - Up
How is it possible for a film to break your heart within the first 15 minutes of it starting?! Up definitely tugs on the heart strings and makes me tear up every single time I watch it. This film really does remind you that life is short and you need to start working on your dreams and everything you wish for, you can't keep waiting and putting it off. People get old and situations change, people put things off and never get round to doing them. Up is easily the most emotional movie Disney have made, and that's just the first 15 minutes! I really love how the relationship between Carl and Russell blossoms over time, it's so cute to watch! This is another Disney film that you absolutely must watch!

Pictured - Monsters Inc
I can't actually believe how old this film is! As if Monsters Inc is 17 years old! Monsters Inc is probably still one of the best Disney films there is, despite the age, which is nothing compared to some of the old classics! I love the friendship that Mike and Sulley have, it's so cute! I also love that they released Monsters University to explain how they ended up having the friendship that they do, even if it did take them forever to release a second film! I really that Disney decide to release another Monsters Inc movie, I just know it would be incredible!

Pictured - Beauty and the Beast
Being completely honest, I thought I would hate the live action of Beauty and the Beast, but I really surprised myself and loved it! As I'm sure you'll be aware if you've read any of my previous blog posts, but I am a huge Harry Potter fan and seeing any of the actors or actresses in other films, but I really love Emma Watson as Belle, I think she portrayed the role perfectly. I still really love the original version of Beauty and the Beast, but I think I enjoy this one a little more! I love the soundtrack to this film also, even if you can tell that Emmas voice is auto tuned!

What are your favourite Disney movies? I have so many more that I love, but this blog post would be endless if I were to write about them all!
