♥ What I Got For Christmas 2018!

December 25, 2018

I still can't quite believe that it's Christmas Day! I literally wait all year for this day and it comes and goes so bloody quick. All that preparation, searching for the perfect gifts, getting boxes big enough to fit everything in and making sure presents are posted off in good time, all to be over and done with in one day. I love nothing more than getting gifts that I think people will like or something that I know they'll love, wrapping them all up and sending them off.

I woke up super early this Christmas, like half six early! I can't roll over and go back to sleep either, as soon as I wake up I'm dying for a pee so I just got up. I was surprised to see my parents already awake and the kittens up running around! I sat and opened my presents with my parents and then started preparing a bath. During me sorting out my Christmas Day bath, Jess phoned me and we opened our presents together. After I'd had a bath, we went and picked up my Granda. I gave him his gift from me and my Mum gave him her gift too. I must say that the absolute highlight of my Christmas has to be giving my Granda his gift. I bought him a clock which tells him the date, day of the week and whether it's morning or night time. My Granda has been diagnosed with the onset of dementia, so he is getting very confused with dates, so I know this gift will help him. He was so pleased with the present and agreed that it's going to make his life a little easier, instead of worrying if he's missed an appointment. That's what Christmas is all about for me, giving to others.

Anyway, lets get into what you're here to see - what I got!

I'm going to start off with what my parents bought me for Christmas. I have been completely spoilt this year and got a lot more than I usually do, I must have been extra nice!

Pictured - Disney Traditions 'Undersea Dreaming'
I am in complete shock that my parents bought me this Tradition for Christmas, I absolutely love it! I've been looking at these book style Traditions forever and I'm so pleased to get this one. The teeny Sebastian and Flounder are so cute and I love the colours in this ornament.

Pictured - Disney Traditions 'Someday You Will be a Real Boy'
Can you imagine how surprised I was to open this storybook Tradition after just opening the The Little Mermaid one! I wasn't expecting this at all! I love this one, the detail is incredible and I love that this also includes Figaro, Cleo and Jiminy Cricket. I really wanted to call my kitten Luna, Figaro, but my parents said no so I think they may have purchased this for me due to that.

Pictured - Platform 9 3/4 handbag from Primark
This is a gift that I knew I was getting as I had asked for it. I loved this bag the first time I saw it, but it's so hard to get the good Primark items in my Primark. The store either doesn't get the good items, or they get so few and they sell out super quick, it sucks! So when my Mum told me she was going over to Newcastle, I asked her to pick this up for me if they had it and they did! I think I'll use this back for the remainder of the winter, that burgundy colour is gorgeous!

Pictured - Disney Traditions 'Got No Strings'
Again I am so shocked that I got another Disney Tradition! I love this one, little Pinocchio is so cute! I hadn't seen this one before, so I'm super pleased to have him. He's a great little addition to my collection, which is growing ever so quick!

Pictured - Disney Store Mickey Mouse Hooded Sweatshirt
I am obsessed with this hoodie! It's so comfy and soft, and a present that I wasn't expecting at all. I don't have any clothing items from the Disney Store, and this is the perfect first piece. I have a feeling that my boyfriend might want to steal this, he's been talking about the retro look of Mickey and that he would quite like to find this print on a t-shirt. Fair to say he will not be taking it home with him as I love it!

Pictured - Harry Potter Funko Pop
This release of Funko Pops are so god damn good, I want them all! I love this Herbology style that Funko have done and I think this Harry is so cute! I really want the others as well, they'll look so cute together on my shelf.

Pictured - Little Green Man hot water bottle from Primark
This is another item that I asked my Mum to pick me up as we never ever get this kind of stuff in my local Primark. I love this hot water bottle because not only is it super soft, it's quite small and the perfect size. He's going to look cute on my bed even if I'm not using him!

Pictured - 101 Dalmations mug from Primark
Again, this is another item that I asked for, but I was annoyed when I saw that it's gone in the sale for half price! I am pleased that I have this mug to add to my collection, as I also have Bambi, Buzz and Marie. I really like this one, it's so simple yet so cute.

Pictured - Disney badges
I actually thought these were iron on patches, so I think I may prefer that they are actually badges with a little pin in the back, it means I can put them on my denim jacket and then switch them over to my bag if I want to. I have two sets of these now so I may keep these ones on the board with them being for 90 years of Mickey Mouse

Pictured - Betsy Bunnys
I also collect rabbit things, absolutely anything with a rabbit on and I want it! My rabbit collection seems to have slowed down at the moment as I am focusing more on my Funko Pop and Disney Tradition collections. I am really pleased to have these as they are super cute and will look lovely on my window sill.

Pictured - Disney Marie pyjamas from Primark
I love these pyjamas and have been after these for quite a while! I really rate Primark pyjamas, there relativity cheap and last for ages if you wash them right! I love Marie too, she's one of my favourite Disney characters, so anything with her face on and it want it!

Pictured - Minnie Mouse slippers from Primark
I am obsessed with these slippers! They are so big and chunky, I've had them on my feet all day and my feet have been super warm. My parents didn't know when they bought them, but they actually light up and flash red in Minnie's cheeks when you walk! I hadn't seen these before but definitely would have bought them if I had!

Onto the presents that I received from my boyfriend next..

Pictured - To All the Boys I've Loved Before book
After watching the Netflix film with my little cousin in the summer and loving it, I've been wanting to read the book for quite some time! Unfortunately, this book was taken out of print, so that meant the ones that had been lingering around the book shops wouldn't be replenished when they were sold. I actually tried three different book shops to get my hands on this book but couldn't find it, so when I opened this gift from Reece I was very happy! I don't tend to read very much nowadays, but I always manage to finish a book when I go and see Reece as I spend so much time on trains and planes. This book will for sure be the next one I read!

Pictured - Cogsworth Funko Pop
Okay, so at first I wasn't keen on the live action film version of this Funko as it's so different from the original, however, the more I look at it the more I like it! It doesn't look like a Funko, which is what I think threw me at first, but it really is a gorgeous one! The detail is so intricate and unlike any other Pop, and I really appreciate that! I think this is going to look gorgeous in my collection.

Pictured - A Year of Animation Disney Calendar
I am obsessed with this calendar! I saw this last year and really wanted it but it was out of stock after Christmas and I was really gutted. I wanted it for my desk at work, the perfect piece of Disney to bring to my desk everyday! I bought myself this calendar a couple of months ago as I didn't want to miss out on it, so I was actually really pleased when Reece bought me another one as I wouldn't be able to take photos of the gorgeous animation art inside if it was at work!

Pictured - Disney Traditions 'Dumbo Faith in Flight'
I'm really surprised that I got this Disney Tradition as I didn't mention it to Reece until quite late in December, but I'm so pleased I did as I love it! We never got to go on the Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride in Disneyland Paris as the queue time was ridiculous, so I feel like this Tradition is my little piece of Dumbo! The colours on this Disney Tradition are gorgeous and will fit in well with my collection.

Pictured - Wagamama cook book
Since I went to Manchester in September and we got a Wagamama take away, I have been obsessed with their food! We don't have a Wagamama in Carlisle, so I have to travel to Edinburgh or when I'm in Belfast, to eat there. Reece isn't very adventurous with his food, so trying Japanese cuisine isn't at the forefront of his to do list, but we have made a promise that when he comes to visit me, we will eat there when we go to Edinburgh for the day! I am so excited to try some of these recipes, I'm just gutted that the chicken katsu curry isn't in there!

Pictured - The Art of Moana
I adore these The Art Of  books and I have looked at so many of them, but never purchased one! This book is stunning, it breaks down what goes into creating an animation movie and how they chose to dress the characters and create their features. It also breaks down how they chose to make the landscapes and backgrounds in the film. I'm looking forward to giving this book a proper read, it looks so interesting!

Pictured - Levis Colour Block Hoodie
I am so beyond pleased to have been gifted this hoodie for Christmas! When myself and Reece visited Edinburgh in March for my birthday, I had my eye on this hoodie but decided not to get it and have kind of regretted it ever since! I was super surprised to see this when I was opening my gifts, I wasn't expecting this at all! I wore it the next day and it was so warm and cosy! I'm going to get so much wear out of this!

Now on to the presents I received from my boyfriends parents!

Pictured - Disney Tradition 'An Unexpected Kiss'
I was so blown away when I opened this absolutely gorgeous Disney Tradition from my boyfriends parents! I have been admiring this one from a far for quite a while now, but it's not one that I would buy myself due to the price. I still can't quite believe that they bought me this! Not only is it absolutely stunning, it's also huge! This is easily the biggest one that I have in my collection now and I'm not going to lie, it's one of my favourites!

Pictured - Disney Minnie Mouse t-shirt
How cute is this t-shirt? You can never have enough Disney clothing and this one is perfect for the festive season! I wore this on Christmas Eve for work and it was really cosy. This t-shirt has that sequin effect where you can brush them the opposite way and the colour changes, this one goes from fuchsia to teal! I'm going to wear this a lot!

Now for the presents I received from my friends!

From Jess (@snapsoflush)
Calacas shower jelly from LUSH
Christmas Pud bath dessert from Bath Bake Love
Midnight Berries velvet scrub from Bath Bake Love
Spiced Plum Custard shower gel from Treacle Moon
Fizzy Prosecco Party bath salts from Treacle Moon
Gingerbread Man pin from @cauldronbrews
Butterbear pin from @cauldronbrews
Gingerbread Men candle from Wax Lyrical
Dear Santa
 candle from Wax Lyrical
Marie sweatshirt from Primark
Fluffy socks
Bauble sippy cup

How bloody generous is Jess! She knows me so god damn well! I have been wanting Calacas shower jelly forever but it's one of them products that never appears to be sold because nobody wants to part with it! I'm looking forward to trying it out and having a full on Calacas bath with it! I'm also super pleased about the BBL products, Christmas Pud is one of my favourites, it smells gorgeous! And Midnight Berries is a new one from this year which also smells insane, I'm happy to have a back up! Jess also got me the Spice Plum Custard shower gel from Treacle Moon which I have been dying to try out and I did today! I used this in my Christmas bath and it was gorgeous, I even washed my hair with it! I can't wait to try out the Fizzy Prosecco Party bath salts in an upcoming bath too! I've already burnt some of my Dear Santa candle (which isn't pictured) whilst I was having my Christmas bath and it smelt gorgeous, as does the Gingerbread Men candle too! I hadn't see the Marie sweatshirt before, but it's gorgeous and I'm so please Jess got me it! I'm already wearing my fluffy socks, and can confirm that they are extra warm and toasty! Another gift not pictured is my bauble sippy cup, which literally looks like a huge red bauble! I've been drinking from it all day and it's made me feel extra festive! Jess also got me some of the gorgeous pins that @cauldronbrews creates and sells! I can't believe she got them for me! I absolutely love them!

From Beth (@mermazingbathsuk)
Midnight Serotina body scrub
Midnight Serotina bubble mix
Midnight Serotina whipped soap
Sniffles shower bomb
Lindt chocolate bunny
Flutter lip balm
Santa tree decoration
Reindeer tree decoration

I adore the Midnight Serotina scent from Mermazing Baths. it's the most gorgeous cherry scent ever! Beth ever so kindly made me a bubble mix and a whipped soap in the same scent, these are items that she has never released before, so they have labels which say 'Just for Stevie-Marie' on them! I'm so excited to have a full on cherry bath with them all! Beth also got me a Lindt bunny, which may kill me inside to eat because it's a bunny, but Lindt is one of my favourite chocolates so I'm sure it won't be sticking around for long! Beth also gifted me some tree decorations, a Santa bauble which has a bell inside that the kittens went absolutely crazy for and a super cute reindeer one! The final present is a lip balm, which feels lovely on the lips and tastes good too, this will be living in my handbag!

From Lauren, my best friend
Lauren knows me so well, chocolate, Disney and Harry Potter! She got me a collection of chocolate with a tub of Oreo hot chocolate. I'm super pleased to have this as I have been looking for the Tassimo pods for a while but haven't been able to find them anywhere! She also got me two of the Twisted Tales books, Mother Knows Best and Part of Your World. I've been meaning to pick up these books for a while but always seem to miss them when they're in Tesco! I'm excited to read these as I've heard good reviews. Lauren also got me a gorgeous pair of Harry Potter pyjamas which I am currently wearing and are super nice, they're soft and comfy!

I also got £50 from my Granda and a cheque for £100 from my dads step dad, this money will more than likely go towards my LUSH Boxing Day haul.

I think it's fair to say that I have been well and truly spoilt rotten this year, I am so pleased with each and every single gift. I hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas and have been spoilt just as much as I have! I'll be posting a blog post tomorrow with my Boxing Day haul for you all!
