♥ Kingdom & Co - Wax Haul!

It has been a long time since I have wrote a blog post. A looooooong time! It's not that I haven't wanted to write a blog, I just didn't feel inspired and my crappy old laptop really wasn't ideal - the F key stuck and the caps lock didn't work. So I took the plunge and upgraded to an all in one PC and it's made my life so much easier! I play The Sims quite a lot and I was having to use an old laptop to play as my newer one didn't have a disc drive and it would die at the slight nudge of the charger cable. It was a nightmare! I am also still working from home, and it looks like I will be for a while yet, so I already spend a lot of my time at my desk - however I am excited to get back into blogging and to change up my content a bit more! I think another reason why I wasn't feeling inspired is because I'm feeling a little detatched from LUSH lately. I honestly can't remember the last time I used a bath bomb! Moving forward with this blog, I want to write more about small businesses, travelling, my interests and hobbies (not that I have many!) and maybe I will pop up a LUSH post here and there, but I don't want that to be the focus of my content anymore. So what better way to get me back in to writing than to focus on a first time buy from a small business!
Now that I am working from home, I can burn wax at my own leisure and it's been fab! I have been eyeing up Kingdom & Co for a while now. Kingdom & Co is a UK based family run business that creates wonderful handmade soy wax. I was of course intrigued by the incredible Disney inspired designs, how could you not be - they look incredible! The scents also sound beautiful and tie in with the designs so well! After lusting after these beautiful wax melts for a while, I finally managed to grab some! I would really recommend that if you would like to purchase, follow @kingdomandco__ on Instagram and keep an eye out for restocks as these melts sell fast!
I am so super impressed that I made this order on Sunday, they were dispatched the same day and I received them on the Tuesday! What's that for fast shipping! I don't think I've ever had a parcel come that quick! I'm super pleased that these came quick as I was so excited to smell them all and I can't lie, I do get a bit impatient and check the Shop app multiple times a day when I'm waiting for a parcel, but these were dispatched so quick I didn't even get a chance. All these wax melts came individually packaged in small poly bags which is fab as this makes them super easy for storing. Each melt has as sticker on the back to remind me what each scent is called which is also great! As this was a small order they came in a box that could be popped through my letter box which is a god send as pre-COVID, there was never anybody at home during the day so I was always having to get mail redelivered or trek all the way to the main post office to collect, so that's a huge bonus too. Now lets get into the melts and the most important part, what they smell like!

I love strawberry scents, they're one of my favourite fruity scents to burn, especially at this warm time of the year. Strawberry Whip smells so super sweet and beautiful! This scent really reminds me of strawberry sweets, but you can definitely smell the fizzyness of the soda and the sweetness of the ice cream. This is the kind of scent that makes your mouth water and crave something sweet and juicy!

A sweet confectionary accord of juicy lemon and lime and a splash of sweet orange and hints of red fruits, strawberry & raspberry followed by a fizzy tongue twisting sherbet.
Oh wow! I wasn't too sure what to expect of this scent as there are so many different elements in the scent description, but you really can smell every inch of this scent. The main notes are lemon and lime, but the undertones are lovely and strong with the fizzy sherbet making this melt smell like a cocktail version of a citrus lemonade. Scream Team is a super juicy scent, very refreshing and one you could burn often and never get sick of it.

Ooh this scent smells just like a sweet shop! Very reminiscent of LUSH Snow Fairy, but even sweeter if possible, in a very good way. You can really smell the pear drops in this scent, which I think takes away the sickly sweet edge that this kind of scent can sometimes have and gives it a really beautiful sweetness. Look how gorgeous Ice Queen looks too, the snow flake detail is stunning - almost too pretty to melt!

This is the scent I was most looking forward to and it did not disappoint at all! I love pineapple scents and I find that they are quite hard to come by. Dole Whip is the most gorgeous middle balance of fresh juicy pineapple and sweet ice cream and you can smell the mango, orange and pear in the background, adding to the fruity concoction perfectly! I already have my eye on the Dole Whip nuggets, so you best bet I will be hoping they come back in the next restock and I will be waiting for 7pm on Saturday to grab myself some more of this stunning scent.

A wonderful sweet frozen delight of orange soft serve resting on a base of fizzy orange soda!
I thought this was going to be quite like Dole Whip but boy I was wrong! Citrus Swirl smells like a calippo ice lolly and a ice cream got a bit mixed up together. The super juicy orange is gorgeous and so refreshing, but the ice cream flair is definitely there, sweetening the sharp fruity scent. This smells a lot like the Orange body scrub from LUSH that I absolutely love, so I'm super happy with this melt. I think I might even burn this one first.
I am so impressed with this stunning order, that I went and ordered myself the Mystery Box subscription! I'm so excited to see what creations this includes and I can't wait to share the contents with you all. These wax melts literally have it all, they smell incredible and have a very strong scent too, they look incredible and the price for the size of a melt you're getting is fab!
