♥ Pretty Little Liars Withdrawals?

If you're anything like me, you get invested in TV shows. Their life becomes your life, the characters become your friends and you truly start to believe that someone is following you around in a black hoodie trying to kill you. Yes, I am obsessed and not afraid to tell it, with Pretty Little Liars. I know this is a relatively new show to most people as this wasn't aired in the UK until Netflix (god bless you!) started streaming the episodes, but I have been a die hard fan since 2011.
So as you will know, April will see PLL come to an end and we will finally find out, who killed Charlotte? Is Spencer really her sister? Will Aria finally get her happy ever after? In the mean time, I bet you've got a lot of time on your hands, so I thought I'd give you my recommendations for great TV shows to watch while you wait to see if Spoby survive!

I can't remember when I started watching this TV show, it started airing in 2007 and came to an end in 2012, so I must have started watching around 2008/2009. This is another TV show where you easily get invested in the characters and the relationships they have. I mean, who hasn't seen a meme of Chuck Bass with the quote, 'boyfriend material.' Gossip Girl is about rich kids who live in the upper east side of New York and all the difficulties that they face while growing up, made a little harder when there is an anonymous source spilling information to everyone about the people in the area. This TV show is gripping and will leave you wanting more. Another heartbreak for me when this came to an end, as this was probably one of the first TV shows I properly followed and invested in.

I know exactly how I found 90210, during the last hiatus of Pretty Little Liars! I found this little gem of a TV show on Netflix and binge watched the whole 5 seasons in about 3 weeks. I told you, I'm a die hard when it comes to TV shows. Apart from PLL, I don't think I've ever been so attached to a TV show as I was to 90210. So much happened with the characters in the 114 episodes, it was hard not to find yourself emotionally attached. 90210 follows siblings that have just moved to the area and how they integrate with the elite children of the 90210 Beverly Hills post code. This is another TV show that will have you in fits of giggles and in tears within the same five minutes. I can't recommend it enough!

It was actually my Mum who got me into watching Revenge, which is really weird because I tend to stay clear of any TV show my Mum watches as we just don't have the same taste. I did, however, really enjoy this TV show. I have been a little bad, as I haven't finished it just yet, but I will finish this before PLL starts again. Revenge is about, yeah you guessed it, getting revenge. When a little girls dad is taken to prison and she is put into care, she starts to resent him. Until she receives a box upon his death with information that can lead her to prove that he was set up. This TV show doesn't get as much credit as it should. Emily VanCamp plays an amazing role, and even though there are only 4 seasons and 89 episodes, this show will take your emotions on a rollercoaster!

I bet you weren't expecting to see Prison Break on this list! Yes, this is not normally a TV show that I would become addicted to and watch from start to finish four times. But I love it. It does help that Wentworth Miller is a very attractive man, but the story line to this show really grips you. A lot of people said that season 3 was a bit boring, and yes I will agree that it wasn't the best season, but come on! Get through it so you can get to season 4 where it all goes down! If you haven't watched Prison Break, this show is about a man who gets sentenced to the death penalty for a murder he did not commit. His brother, a structural engineer, gets himself into prison so that he can break his brother out using the blueprints that he has had tattooed to his body. This show will make you bawl you eyes out until you think you can't cry anymore, it will have you on the edge of your seat, just waiting to see what happens. Also, after Prison Break calling it quits back in 2009, eight years later it is making a comeback with a brand new season due to air on January 1st 2017. Excited doesn't even come close!
There are my recommendations to see you through to April, while we wait together for the last ever ten episodes of Pretty Little Liars. Leave me a comment down below if you can think of anymore shows to watch, or you could just watch Pretty Little Liars from season 1 again - (I definitely have not already re watched all the seasons..)
